What does that mean in a courtship? How is it manifested? Through waiting on God and through sacrificing your will for His.

Waiting on God requires a listening heart. That heart is open to God's voice to either move or stay, to go forward or to retreat. Waiting on God requires faith in Him. You trust Him to guide you. You know that He will. Waiting on God shows humility. You are not living by your own strength, but His. You are not acting on your own knowledge of things, but on His. You must keep your ears open.

Sacrificing your will for His is difficult, but necessary. There's no safety outside His will. He knows best and He knows how to guide you. Rebellion will get you nowhere. No matter how good you think something is, if He wants you to let go of it, you must. Trust in Him at all times, O people.
